Today was graduation day at the Comic Art School of Malmö and as is our custom, we combined playfulness with serious ceremonies. Stina Hjelm, cartoonist and one of the teachers, organised Pictionary, which is extra fun to do with a room full of cartoonists.
After that Gunnar Krantz, also teacher at the school and a multi-talented artist, showed that his hobby is to play the guitar. Finally, all students were given their diplomas, and as in all good stories, we were all rewarded with food and drink. Many of these students will be heard of in the years to come, and will help to shape the future of Swedish comics, so keep a look out for their Yearbook, as can be seen below.
