I met the inimitable Hunt Emerson for the first time at the Norwegian comics festival Raptus in 2004. Us "foreigners" at the festival were to be shown the beautiful city of Bergen. After a while we revolted, though, and asked the incredibly nice Norwegian tourist guide to please continue showing the sights to the others, as we went and had a beer at an Irish pub we had sighted earlier. This was probabably the best part of the whole festival as I, Emmerson, Gilbert Shelton and Jakob Hallin enjoyed the nectar from the Guiness brewerey. Emerson drew the picture above as a memento of our experience.
