New Comics contest in Norway

The never stopping juggernaut of a comics agent, Håkon Strand (Rocky, Nemi, Pondus) has paved the way for another big contest to encourage artist to create new comic strips. Here's an article laying out the ground rules, taken from the Norwegian daily newspaper Dagbladet.

And now the Mouse too

I must admit that it is quite fascinating to follow the debate about wether or not Disney comics are making propaganda against illegal copying and downloading. Clearly there is a severe shortage of things to write about right now... DN, the biggest and most respected newspaper in Sweden has now written about this, again. This time digging forth an even older Mickey Mouse comic, and interviewing another person responsible at Egmont in Norway. Well, if the game is showing other comics that can be interpreted as making a statment in this debate, then there is probably no shortage of examples, so this can go on forever. Curiouser and curiouser, said the Cheshire Cat.
