News: Grass-roots movement to save Tivoli

I reported a few days ago about the cancellation of Tivoli med vänner, the independently published children's comics magazine. When this turned into a big media debate, the publishers stated that they needed 1 500 new subscribers to survive. This was quickly turned into a grass-roots movement. A Facebook group was launched (not by the publisher but by readers), and the publisher added a counter, keeping track of new subscribers at their subscription site. In just two days, half the number of new subscribers needed has been achieved (770 as of right now) and the number keeps rising. So, there's still hope.

Take part in this, forward the subscription page, the Facebook group, this blog etc. through e-mail and Facebook, to friends with children and not the least to your local libraries and schools, and tell them that there might be an independent Swedish comic book for children, if they help out by subscribing and spreading the word.
