Live: Un regard moderne

Today I have, among other things, visited the (in)famous comic shop Un regard moderne in Paris.

This tiny book shop has books for five stores of equal size, crammed into one, making it almost impossible to move around, much less find anything.

Me an Jamil Mani did have a look around, though, me looking for more European examples for my forthcoming book on Jewish culture in comics.

Among all the books, I found a solitary copy of my long since sold out book Black Images in the Comics, which will be published in a new, expanded soft cover this spring. Come to think about it, I should have bought it as I am running low on copies myself...

Anyway, we left this strangely compelling shop and headed for a pub overlooking the Seine and had a few beers in the sun. It's a hard life, if you don't weaken.
